Alemşah Cupola
Alemşah Vault, located opposite the Ulu Mosque in Sivrihisar District, which is a beautiful example of Seljuk art, was built for his brother Sultan Shah, who was martyred by Melikşah in 1328. It is a two-storey square planned building made of cut stone. Brick was also used in its construction. There is a mummy section on the lower floor of the tomb. There are motifs frequently used by the Seljuks on the door decorations of the mummy. This section is made of 13 marble cut blocks and each section is decorated with five different motifs. Fish, crossed stars, geometric interlacing, knitting and hook motifs are seen here. The tomb with a round body on the outside, a dome on the inside and a pyramidal cone on the outside is covered.
