Iztuzu beach became world famous for the giant turtles Caretta Carettas. Istuzu Beach facilities are located at one end of the beach and Dalyanağzı Daily Beach facilities are located at the other end. The beach stretches for kilometers.
Istuzu beach can be reached by road from Dalyan. The asphalt road from Dalyan follows the delta, the Sülüngür coast and descends to the beach by passing through villages. As you get closer to the beach, there are openings on the road that are suitable for photographing. This is a panorama that encompasses the entire delta and the beach.
Dolmus boats departing from Dalyan take you to the Dalyan mouth beach. Caretta caretta giant turtles come to Istuzsu beach to lay their eggs.
There are cabins and kiosks where you can have a cold drink at the Istuzu and Dalyanagzi Beach facilities behind the beach. Umbrellas can also be rented. However, precautions are taken to prevent umbrellas from damaging the eggs.
You can also go to Iztuzu Dalyan mouth Beach from the canal with the motors that run continuously. A small natural channel that connects the lake water to the sea divides the beach. After swimming in the sea and sunbathing on the beach, you can take a shower with the fresh water of the lake on the other side. The opportunity to swim in both salty and fresh water gives you great pleasure.
Iztuzu is a natural wonder beyond Caretta Carettas. It has a marvelous appearance like the kind you see in puzzle mazes. It is as if a 5400-meter sand arrow stretching to the sea goes around and around, accompanied by reeds.
