Since the castle was built by utilizing the rocky structure in the form of cliffs, fortification walls can only be seen where the cliffs are sloping. The entrance gate of the castle is located in the middle of the cliff. Gabriel mentions an unreadable inscription on this gate and two lions in relief above the inscription.
Since the arched entrance of the castle is destroyed today, these works described are not visible. The entrance corridor of the castle is covered with a vaulted ceiling. There are many warehouses and wells carved into the rock inside the castle. Today only the southern bastion of the castle is standing.
