Abdaliye Madrasa is located on the Cizre Wall, which connects the Cizre Dağkapı neighborhood to the cemetery. Mem-u Zin Tomb is in the basement under the administration rooms of this madrasa. There are three graves inside. The graves belong to Zin, Bekir and Mem. One of the tombstones bears the inscription “May Allah have mercy on him and all Muslims”. Mem-u Zin is a story of divine love. This love story took place in 854 AH (1450-1451) during the reign of Emir Zeynuddin, the Bey of Cizre.
