Nur Sultan Grand Mosque
The mosque, which is of great importance in terms of showing the unity and friendship of 130 ethnic groups living on the territory of Kazakhstan, also has the feature of being the highest viewing terrace in the city.
Nazarbayev, who examined the architecture of many places of worship during his trips abroad and laid the foundation for the construction the day before he left his presidency, also took part in the design development process of the mosque. The design of the mosque is therefore based on the collective experience of the Muslim world.
