Pera Museum
The Pera Museum, which was opened on June 8, 2005, is a special museum established by Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation to provide qualified and large-scale culture and art services. In the period of 2003-2005, the restorer operates in the building built as a contemporary and equipped museum by preserving the facade of the Historical Bristol Hotel in Tepebaşı within the framework of the project prepared by Mimar Sinan Genim. Pera Museum, Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation “Orientalist Picture”, “Anatolian weight and measurements” and “Kütahya tiles and ceramics” collections and values represented by these collections, exhibitions, publishing products, oral activities, educational activities and scientific studies through the public through the public, aims to transfer to future generations.
Tate Britain, Victoria and Albert Museum, St. Petersburg Russian State Museum, JP Morgan Chase Collection, New York School of Visual Arts, MAEGHT Foundation, such as the world's leading museums, collections and foundations, the Pera Museum produces common art projects, organized periodic exhibitions, “Jean Dubufet”, “Henri Cartier-Bresson“ , “Rembrandt”, “Niko Pirosmani”, “Josef Koulka“ “Joan Miró”, “Akira Kurosawa”, “Marc Chagall”, “Pablo Picasso”, “Fernando Botero”, “Frida Kahlo”, “Diego Rivera”, “ Goya ”has brought together the works of master artists of the world with art lovers. The Pera Museum, which also organizes exhibitions that support young artists by cooperating with national and international education and art institutions every year since its opening, supports all exhibitions with books, verbal activities and children's education programs. Pera Film, which attracts attention with its periodic programs and activities, organizes comprehensive screenings in parallel with the exhibitions, extending to visitors and cinema enthusiasts, classics independent films, animations and documentaries.
