Sultan Murat Plateau
It is 25 km from Çaykara District of Trabzon Province. at a distance of 54 km from Aydıntepe. There is electricity, drinking water and WC in Sultanmurat Plateau, located in the northwest. Every year, thousands of people visit the trenches and martyrs' graves from the First World War.
Surrounded by mountains, the region has a mild and very rainy climate in all seasons. Plateaus were established at the foot of these high mountain ranges. On the mountains, among the forests decorated with different flowers and trees, there are lowlands and plateaus. Among these plateaus, Erikbeli, Derinoba, Karadağ, Sultan Murat plateaus are famous.
